Introducing the winners of our Magic Maker contest.
In February 2021, we launched a contest for our customers to have their flavor come to life. After 700 amazing entries, our Creative team chose three that spoke to us. Inspired by each Magic Maker’s culture, family heritage, and favorite desserts, these flavors are extremely special and one of a kind.
Guava Cake - Created by Sarah Palama-Hoffer
Inspired by her family’s deep roots in Kauai, this ice cream is the celebratory Hawaiian Guava cake in ice cream form. Starting with a creamy strawberry guava ice cream, we add luscious swirls of guava jam and pieces of fluffy vanilla guava cake.
Rhubarb Almond Tart - Created by Klara Oh
A lover of Rhubarb and of her Norwegian heritage, this ice cream is inspired by her favorite dessert to bake for others, a Rhubarb Almond Tart. This ice cream has a sweet cream base with swirls of a house-made rhubarb compote and almond cookie gems.
Rooibos Tea & Cookies - Created by Susanna Waldrop
A true South African tradition, this ice cream is created to honor her mom’s favorite tea. Rooibos tea is steeped in our coconut and oat milk ice cream, swirled with a dulce de leche ribbon, and studded with perfectly baked chocolate shortbread cookies.
All three flavors are now available today through May 4th. You can find them in our scoop shops or for nationwide delivery.
