Created by Sarah Palama-Hoffer. Inspired by her family’s deep roots in Kauai, this ice cream is the celebratory Hawaiian Guava cake in ice cream form. Starting with a creamy strawberry-guava ice cream, we add luscious swirls of guava jam and pieces of fluffy vanilla guava cake.
Ingredients: Coconut Milk* (Coconuts, Water), Cane Sugar*, Strawberry Pureé, Cocoa Butter, Gluten-Free Oats, Guava Pureé (pink guava, cane sugar, malic acid), Sea Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Beet Powder. Guava Jam: Cane Sugar*, Guava Pureé (pink guava, cane sugar, malic acid), Strawberries, Cornstarch, Sea Salt, Lemon Juice. Guava Cake: Garbanzo Bean Flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Flour, Whole Grain Sorghum Flour, Fava Bean Flour, Cane Sugar*, Safflower Oil, Apple Sauce (apples, water), Coconut Milk*, Sea Salt, Guava Pureé (pink guava, cane sugar, malic acid), Vanilla Extract, Flax Meal, Baking Powder.
