Let's make a Spumoni Freeze.

SPUMONI FREEEEZE!

This February, we created three ice creams that reminded us of that classic Italian dessert, Spumoni. So, we thought, why not make a little classic Spumoni freeze? It’s easy to do at home, and just requires one pint of each February seasonals. Top a slice with anything you like, but we loved toasted pistachios and crispy freeze-dried strawberries.

Ingredients:
1 pint F&J Dream State
1 pint F&J Molten Chocolate Cake
1 pint F&J Spiritual Strawberry

Equipment:
1 loaf pan
Parchment paper or saran wrap
Off set spatula
Freezer

Let the pints of ice cream soften on the counter for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare your loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or saran wrap – this will make it possible to easily lift your freeze out of the pan.
Starting with Molten Chocolate Cake, scoop and spread (using the offset) an even layer of ice cream on the bottom.
Then do the same with the Dream state and finish with Spiritual Strawberry.
Place back in freezer over night, or for at least 4 hours. Once completely frozen, lift out and cut with a warm, clean knife.

Pre-order pints for pickup in our scoop shops or place an order to have them shipped to your door.
