Ice cream is a luxurious treat, a timeless way to celebrate life. Such special treats should feel good in your body, and leave you feeling joyous in every way possible.

We believe feeling good after ice cream starts with organic non-gmo ingredients, very few of them, then trained artisans in the kitchen who care deeply about their craft of ice cream making. We make every part of our ice cream, including our base, and even pasteurize it ourselves - no manufactured pre-made base-in-a box here. We dream up, create and make every single mix-in, sauce and even culture and make the butter that goes into every baked good (we sell that, too). Call us crazy, but we call ourselves passionate.

We are devoted to keeping small food production alive and well, where people are at the core of our production, even at national distribution levels.

Making ice cream from fruits, nuts and vegetables is our way of being present with our earth, right here and now. We believe that eating more nutrient-rich plants is better for our bodies, better for the planet, and an extension of compassion to all living beings. We make a conscious effort to source organic ingredients from suppliers with whom we have a meaningful relationship, and who care about how the soil is tended and how these plants are grown just as much as we do. The end result is the dreamiest, creamiest ice cream full of magic, made with care, for everyone.

The vision for a new kind of vegan ice cream was born in 2011 by our founder Autumn Martin, who believed then that plant-based food should be a sturdy part of our food traditions. She knew that to change the minds and the traditions of a society, it would take a quality that at least matched, or surpassed its animal-based counterpart. With years of dreaming, projections, resisting nay-sayers, product development, and the search for the right business partner, she united with Kari Brunson in late 2015. The two wove the vision into the fabric that is ice cream for good until Spring of 2026, when Autumn became sole owner of the company.

Autumn’s role as our Founder and CEO is to keep our mission and vision moving forward, with an empathetic, open-minded business approach, contrary to popular ideology of big-capitalism. She believes in doing business for good and is committed to the work of constantly growing as a leader. She is a mother first and foremost, and a business consultant to mothers who believe in doing business differently, where their whole selves can and should be brought to work every day. She is also a nationally recognized chocolatier and works closely with our products and all creative aspects of our business.
