A Bittersweet Goodbye

Our Everyday Menu is changing!

As part of our commitment to being revolutionary and making magic, we decided that our everyday flavor lineup needed to evolve. It is bittersweet to announce that the last day to pick up Date Shake and Golden Milk will be November 23rd. We know this will be very sad to many, but please know that this is not goodbye forever! Date Shake is used as the base of many of our alternatively sweetened ice creams, so you will see lots of it in seasonal flavors coming out this next year. Golden Milk can also make a comeback as a seasonal down the road. Otherwise, this is good to go!Scroll down for a Q&A to dive deeper into why we made this change.

P.S. This change is going to make room for two NEW everyday flavors that will be announced the week of Nov. 23rd. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

Why Golden Milk and Date Shake?

Frankie & Jo’s is growing up and so is our menu! As we approached our fifth birthday, we felt it was time to shake things up a bit and make room on our Everyday Menu for two flavors that have been requested again and again.

Will there be other alternatively sweetened ice cream flavors to replace Date Shake?
Yes! We are promising you at least 12 alternatively sweetened ice cream flavors as seasonals throughout 2022.

Are Date Shake and Golden Milk gone for good?
Nothing is ever gone for good! Date Shake is used as the base of many of our alternatively sweetened ice creams, so you will see lots of it in seasonal flavors coming out this next year. Golden Milk can also make a comeback as a seasonal flavor down the road.

How can I stock up on Date Shake and Golden Milk before they’re gone?
Pints of both flavors will be available until we sell out in all of our scoop shops on or before November 23rd.

Place a scoop shop pre-order here or nationwide shipment here today before they are gone!

I am devastated. Please don’t take my Date shake away.

I am SO sad to hear that Date Shake is going away because it is the only one I can usually eat. That is is the base of your alternatively sweetened ice creams is consolation, but you don’t consistently have an alternatively sweetened ice cream on offer every month. Can that be part of the new lineup, to have an alternatively sweetened ice cream every month?
