We are so thrilled to announce that Frankie & Jo’s has been certified as a fully Non-GMO organization! What does that mean, exactly? A GMO, or genetically modified organism, is a plant, animal, microorganism or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory, creating combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. To be certified as Non-GMO means all of our products are produced without genetic engineering, our ingredients are not derived from GMOs, and additionally, we are compliant with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which includes stringent provisions for testing, supply chain traceability, and segregation.  

This is a wonderful step on the journey of providing our customers with not only the most delicious plant-based ice cream on the market, but ice cream to care for our bodies, our animals, and the environment, at the highest standard.

And as ALWAYS, our ice cream is vegan, gluten-free, gum-free, stabilizer-free, and soy-free - and now, Non-GMO!
